ENA and SBS Plus’ hit dating reality series "I Am Solo" just dropped an unprecedented twist: a contestant is pregnant before marriage.
On the Oct. 15 episode, producers revealed the franchise’s first-ever pregnancy and shared the baby’s nickname, “Nasoli” ― a playful nod to the show’s Korean title. Teasing “something miraculous” in the show’s world, they added that a couple from the "Divorced Singles" special has reached an even bigger milestone than marriage: they’re expecting.
An ultrasound clip with a strong fetal heartbeat rolled, leaving the three hosts visibly stunned. Given the lag between filming and air, the pregnancy news surfaced on the broadcast after the fact.
With congratulations pouring in, the hosts began guessing who Baby Nasoli’s parents might be.
Defconn, riffing on the powerful heartbeat, joked it could be “Kyung-soo’s baby,” nodding to the contestant who’s spent 30 years building his physique. Lee Yi-kyung floated Gwang-su and Jung-suk ― the final couple from the "Divorced Singles" edition ― as prime contenders.
Online, however, many viewers are betting on Season 28’s Sang-cheol and Jung-suk, pointing to multiple sightings of the two on dates around Busan’s Gwangalli Beach after the show wrapped. As of now, the production has not confirmed the parents’ identities.
