PENTAGON’s SHINWON is officially turning the page to acting.
On Oct. 14, Cube Entertainment unveiled a fresh set of profile photos for him via PENTAGON’s official social channels.
In the images, he shows range―from a laid-back denim jacket look to a sharp suit and moody black-and-white shots―hinting at a confident new chapter on screen.
“As I dive into a new world, I feel both nervous and excited,” SHINWON shared. “I’m channeling those feelings into training and preparation so I can become someone UNIVERSE, PENTAGON’s fanbase, can be proud of. Thank you for the support―please look forward to what’s next.”
Fresh off completing his alternative service as a social service worker last month, SHINWON is gearing up for full-scale activities. Long noted for his striking visuals during PENTAGON promotions, he’s also contributed to songwriting and composing, showing steady growth with each release.
Beyond music, he’s kept busy: for six straight years he hit Fashion Week runways―earning the tongue-in-cheek “god-tier model” nickname―hosted EBS FM’s PENTAGON’s "Night Radio" with quick wit and warm empathy, and made a cameo in JTBC’s "Hello, My Twenties! 2," teasing real onscreen potential.
Now, as he officially makes the leap to acting, SHINWON plans to meet fans through a variety of projects.
