Jang Ki-yong is ready to make hearts race. SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday rom-com "Dynamic Kiss" premieres Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. KST, from writers Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min and directors Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo.
The series tracks a single woman who fakes being a mom to land a job and the team leader who unexpectedly falls for her―setting the stage for mutual pining and a dopamine-fueled romance. Jang stars as Kong Ji-hyeok opposite Ahn Eun-jin as Ko Da-rim, promising swoons in spades.
On Oct. 14, the production unveiled new stills of Jang. His character, Kong Ji-hyeok, heads the Mother TF team (a special task-force unit) at a baby-products company―a razor-sharp manager with cool judgment and a get-it-done drive. A skeptic about love, he’s thrown into a tailspin after an earth-shattering kiss with Ko Da-rim, who disappears right after.
In the photos, Jang is every inch the ultra-competent lead, polished from head to toe. Yet his deep, soft-focus gaze teases a disarming warmth underneath. Another shot shows him in a packed room, ignoring the noise as he nurses a drink―exuding that ice-cold mystique that only makes him more magnetic.
With striking visuals, a rich baritone, and those soulful eyes, Jang has long been a standout in romance―and anticipation is high for another breakout turn in "Dynamic Kiss".
“Through Kong Ji-hyeok, Jang Ki-yong toggles between icy and warm,” the production team shared. “He may seem cold to everyone else, but the woman he loves rattles him to the core―and she’s the only one who sees his softer side. Expect him to steal hearts in living rooms this November 2025.”
