Actor Kim Yoon-hye, 34, is getting married.
On Oct. 13, her agency J,WIDE COMPANY announced that Kim will tie the knot on Oct. 25 after meeting “a precious partner she wants to spend her life with.”
Her fiance is not in the entertainment industry, and the ceremony will be a private affair at an undisclosed venue in Seoul. “Out of respect for the groom, who is a non-celebrity, and both families, the wedding will be held quietly in Seoul,” the agency said, adding, “We’re sincerely grateful to everyone who has supported Kim Yoon-hye, and we ask for your warm blessings as she starts this new chapter.”
Kim made her debut in 2002 on the cover of Vogue Girl. She first promoted under the stage name Woo-ri before returning to her given name and focusing on acting. Her credits include the dramas "My Sassy Girl," "Shooting Stars" and "Goodbye Earth," as well as the films "Steel Cold Winter" and "The Advocate: A Missing Body." Last year, she earned praise for portraying Maeran Troupe heroine Seo Hye-rang in tvN’s period drama "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born."
Earlier this year, she appeared in SBS’s "Love Scout" as Jung Soo-hyun, a picture-book author and single mom.
