Travel YouTuber and TV personality KwakTube (real name Kwak Jun-bin, 33) has tied the knot with his girlfriend, who is five years younger, and shared the happy news that they’re expecting their first child.
On Oct. 11, the couple held a private ceremony at a Seoul hotel with family and friends. His bride is a non-celebrity government employee. The pair had originally planned to marry next May but moved the date up to October after learning they were expecting.
The following day, Kwak thanked fans on social media, writing that their outpouring of congratulations helped make the day special. He also extended appreciation to supporters who couldn’t attend, adding that he was grateful for all the love.
He promised to be “a warm, devoted husband and dad,” and shared elegant wedding portraits, with him in a tux and his bride in a classic gown.
The guest list glittered with industry friends. TV host Jun Hyun-moo emceed the ceremony, while vocal duo DAVICHI performed. BTS’s JIN was among the attendees, along with actors Ahn Bo-hyun, Ji Ye-eun, Ryu Hyun-kyung, Lee Joon, and Kang Ki-young, plus creators Pani Bottle, Orbit, Pungja, Joo Woo-jae, Kian84, cartoonist Joo Ho-min, and producer Kim Tae-ho.
Last month, Kwak revealed in a YouTube video that he was getting married and would soon be a dad. He shared that he met his girlfriend before he became famous; the two briefly split when work got hectic but later rekindled their relationship. He said he decided to marry her because, despite being younger, she consistently lifts his self-worth and confidence.
