Jo Woo-jin opened up about what finally pushed him to say “let’s get married” after years of going back and forth.

On the Oct. 12 episode of SBS’ "My Little Old Boy," the actor appeared as a special MC.

During the show, Seo Jang-hoon noted that Jo tied the knot after 11 years of dating. Shin Dong-yup then asked whether Jo’s wife was ever hurt, since he used to sound like he didn’t believe in marriage.

“Looking back, I think she held back those feelings,” Jo said. “Around the three-year mark she asked if I planned to get married. She asked again after six years, and then she stopped. Then one day, out of nowhere, I told her, ‘Let’s get married.’”

He added that a sudden clarity hit him, and that’s when he proposed.

Seo challenged Jo to name three perks of marriage in five seconds. Jo fumbled with a laugh―“You get to act like an adult... and act like an adult”―and ran out the clock.

To show him how it’s done, Seo tossed the same question to Shin. “I don’t know about anything else―I thought I’d die if I didn’t get married. Thanks for keeping me alive,” Shin quipped, drawing big laughs.
