TV host Han Suk-joon has opened up about the frightening reason he recently missed a taping: he collapsed at home and briefly lost consciousness.
Sharing the news on social media on the 30th, Han wrote, "Last week, I suddenly collapsed at home. When my wife woke me, I couldn't tell if I'd just been asleep or come back from the brink. There was blood everywhere, and I could barely speak." He added that he was rushed to the ER, underwent brain imaging, and received treatment for a head laceration.
Before revealing the incident, Han had quietly skipped a recording of tvN's variety series "Free 19" and an appearance on Gugak FM radio's "Han Suk-joon's Culture Era." He thanked voice actor Eun Young-sun and Jang Ye-won for stepping in, noting, "I even showed up to give a talk with my head bandaged. I'm grateful to everyone on-site who checked in on me."
Beyond his TV and radio work, Han also runs the YouTube channel "Free Uncle Han Suk-joon."
