"No Other Choice" held the No. 1 spot at the Korean box office for a sixth straight day, even as its daily turnout fell below 100,000 for the first time since opening.

According to the Korean Film Council’s box-office database, the film sold 78,845 tickets on Sept. 29, lifting its cumulative admissions to 1,152,497.

After bowing Sept. 24, "No Other Choice" crossed 1 million admissions in five days and rolled into its second frame. With Korea’s Chuseok holiday window approaching, the dip on its second Monday suggests the real competition is about to heat up. Even so, the title continues to lead both in advance sales share and total pre-sales.

Japan’s "Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc" is holding at No. 2, while "Boss," opening Oct. 3, is sitting at No. 3, putting pressure on "No Other Choice".

"No Other Choice" follows Man-soo (Lee Byung-hun), a seemingly content office worker who’s suddenly laid off. Determined to protect his wife and two kids―and the hard-won home they live in―he gears up for a relentless fight to get rehired. Park Chan-wook directs, with Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min and Yum Hye-ran starring.
