Yoo Yeon-seok marked a full-circle moment with director Park Chan-wook, celebrating their first on-set reunion in 22 years with a set of photos.
On Sept. 28, the actor shared an Instagram carousel tagged “#NoOtherChoice” and “#OhJinHo,” alongside behind-the-scenes shots from his special appearance in Park’s new film "No Other Choice."
In the pics, Yoo sports a Western-inspired costume and strikes poses with Son Ye-jin and Lee Byung-hun, then snaps a commemorative photo with Park.
The reunion carries extra weight for Yoo: he made his screen debut in Park’s 2003 classic "Oldboy," portraying the younger version of antagonist Woo-jin ― the film that catapulted Park to international acclaim.
In "No Other Choice," Yoo drops in as dentist Oh Jin-ho, a scene-stealing cameo that needles Mansu (Lee Byung-hun) and throws his carefully ordered life off balance.
The film follows Mansu, a company man who thinks he has it all until he’s abruptly laid off. Determined to protect his family ― and the home they fought to buy ― he gears up for a personal war to land back on his feet. Released on Sept. 24 in South Korea, "No Other Choice" drew more than 1 million moviegoers in just five days.
