Comedian Kim Jun-ho―Daejeon’s favorite son―drops by Tving’s "Superfan Zone 2" today.
The live sports reality series spotlights diehard supporters whose lives revolve around their team. Back for Season 2, "Superfan Zone" follows Hanwha Eagles faithful in real time as they cheer on the club. Produced by Studio Supadupa and Egg Is Coming, the show streams exclusively live on Tving, with former Eagles star Kim Tae-kyun and actor In Gyo-jin as resident members leading the chants as Hanwha chases the top spot.
Episode 3, streaming live today (Sept. 25 KST), will root along with the Hanwha Eagles as they face the Doosan Bears at Seoul’s Jamsil Baseball Stadium. A proud Eagles supporter, Kim Jun-ho teams up with Kim Tae-kyun and In Gyo-jin for some A+ superfan chemistry.
Born and raised in Daejeon, Kim Jun-ho is a longtime Hanwha devotee―he even threw out ceremonial first pitches at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in 2015 and again in 2023. Given his real-life friendship with Kim Tae-kyun and In Gyo-jin, expectations are high for the trio’s on-screen banter and energy.
Adding to the fun: both Kim Jun-ho and In Gyo-jin are married to passionate Doosan Bears fans. Kim Jun-ho’s wife, Kim Ji-min, and In Gyo-jin’s wife, So Yi-hyun, are diehards for today’s opposing team―a true “house divided” storyline fans will want to see play out. Expect plenty of rallying cries, including their tongue-in-cheek motto: “Loving Hanwha isn’t a crime.”
With the regular season winding down, every remaining game is pivotal in the race for first. Can the Eagles surge ahead on the strength of their superfans’ roar? "Superfan Zone 2" plans to keep the cheers going right through the final stretch.
The fan-first sports reality series "Superfan Zone 2" streams live today (Thu) at 6 p.m. KST on Tving.
