ATEEZ has clinched a double crown on Japan's Oricon charts this week.
On September 24, Oricon reported that the group's second Japanese studio album, "Ashes to Light", debuted at No. 1 on the Weekly Combined Albums chart for the tracking period of September 15-21.
The set also ruled the Weekly Albums chart, giving ATEEZ No. 1s on both tallies. First-week sales surpassed 116,000 copies, a career high for the group's Japanese releases, underscoring pent-up demand for their first Japanese studio album in about four and a half years.
"Ashes to Light" threads a message of new hope rising from hardship. Its title track, "Ash", is a high-impact cut that blends cinematic textures with a propulsive beat, spotlighting sharpened vocals and razor-edged rap from the eight-piece.
Upon release on September 17, the album opened at No. 1 on Oricon's Daily Album Ranking, signaling a strong comeback. It also reached No. 5 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart and pushed ATEEZ onto Spotify's Daily Top Artists chart, keeping momentum across global platforms.
Ash entered iTunes Top Songs charts in 11 countries and made waves on Japan's Line Music rankings. The music video cracked Line Music's Music Video Top 100 and hit No. 1 on YouTube's Worldwide Trending lists for both Music Videos and overall Videos, underscoring the group's world-class pull.
Alongside the new album, ATEEZ is meeting fans on the Japan tour "In Your Fantasy". The group wrapped three sold-out nights in Saitama from September 13 to 15, followed by two shows in Nagoya on September 20 and 21, with two Kobe dates set for October 22 and 23.
Tickets for the Kobe shows sold out at lightning speed, prompting the addition of standing-room and limited-view seats to meet feverish demand.
