Yuri of Girls' Generation is going live on Tving’s "Superfan Zone 2" (literal translation) today (Sept. 24).
The fan-first sports variety series puts die-hard supporters center stage. The new season spotlights Hanwha Eagles superfans and streams live exclusively on Tving, co-produced by Studio Supadupa and Egg Is Coming. Hanwha legend Kim Tae-kyun and actor-superfan In Gyo-jin are fixed cast members, leading fever-pitch cheers as they root for a title run.
Episode 3, airing live today, will rally in real time from Incheon SSG Landers Field as the Hanwha Eagles take on the SSG Landers. Joining the panel, Yuri―widely seen as Hanwha’s good-luck charm―teams up with Kim Tae-kyun and In Gyo-jin to bring winning vibes.
Yuri has earned that reputation thanks to a strong win rate whenever she’s in the stands. In 2024, she threw a ceremonial first pitch decked out head-to-toe in a Hanwha kit―from jersey and pants to belt and socks―and the Eagles cruised to an 8-0 shutout. She was also on site in May for the club’s 12-game tear, further cementing her “good-luck” status.
Fans are eager to see if she can work her magic again on "Superfan Zone 2". Catch Yuri, Kim Tae-kyun and In Gyo-jin leading the live chants as the regular season heads into its final stretch.
