CHAEYOUNG of TWICE has landed her first solo entry on the Billboard 200 with her debut full-length.
Billboard announced on Sept. 23 (local time) that CHAEYOUNG’s first solo album, "LIL FANTASY vol.1", released Sept. 12, bows at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 dated Sept. 27. She also hits No. 1 on Emerging Artists and appears on Artist 100, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, World Albums and Vinyl Albums, underscoring her growing global pull.
Framing a personal, self-styled soundscape, "LIL FANTASY vol.1" features 10 tracks, all co-created by CHAEYOUNG. She took the lead on lyrics, composition and production for the title track, "SHOOT (Firecracker)", packing the song with intent and attitude. The set opened at No. 1 on Hanteo’s Daily Album Chart (Sept. 12) and reached the top five on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart.
TWICE’s global momentum continues as well. The group is in the midst of its sixth world tour, "This Is For", performing in-the-round 360-degree shows. On the charts, they recently notched career highs on the Billboard Hot 100 and other major global rankings with "TAKEDOWN" (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG) from the Netflix "KPop Demon Hunters" soundtrack and "Strategy" from their 14th mini-album.
Up next, TWICE will drop a 10th-anniversary special album, "TEN: The Story Goes On," on Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. KST, and host the 10th-anniversary fan meeting "10VE UNIVERSE" on Oct. 18 at 5 p.m. KST at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
