GOT7’s JINYOUNG celebrated his birthday by giving back.

Save the Children Korea announced that the actor-singer donated 100 million won to support children’s meal programs.

The gift comes ahead of Chuseok, Korea’s harvest holiday, with JINYOUNG hoping to ensure warm, nourishing meals for kids in low-income households.

“I’ve been able to keep moving forward thanks to my fans’ love and support, and I’ve long thought about how to give back,” JINYOUNG said in a statement. “I’m grateful to play even a small part in protecting children’s smiles, and I’ll keep doing my best in acting and music.”

The funds will provide special meals and help improve kitchen environments for families facing food insecurity or gaps in childcare due to financial or caregiving challenges.

JINYOUNG previously donated 30 million won in February 2023 to emergency relief following the Turkiye-Syria earthquake, becoming a member of Save the Children’s Honors Club. This April, he gave another 30 million won to support children and families affected by the Myanmar earthquake, continuing his steady track record of philanthropy.
