Former Cats Kim Ji-hye shared a health update on her newborn twins and asked fans for support.
On Sept. 21, she posted from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where the babies have been for three weeks.
“Born at 35 weeks, our little ones are in the NICU,” she wrote. “They arrived at 2.2 kg and 2.1 kg, and both are still under 2 kg (4.4 lbs). One twin is now off oxygen and taking formula well, so doctors think we might be able to go home next week, but the other still needs more time.”
She added, “Our tiny angels are fighting hard―please keep them in your prayers.” Kim said she’s staying strong during visits and focusing on building stamina because “once they’re home, the real newborn boot camp begins.”
Kim married former PARAN member Choi Sung-wook in 2019. After six years, the couple conceived via IVF and welcomed boy-girl twins via C-section on Sept. 8 at 35 weeks. Kim is now home and recovering.
