On the Sept. 21 episode of SBS’s "My Little Old Boy," actor-singer Lee Jun-young appeared as a special MC and revisited a live-telecast blunder where he mixed up his name with actor Lee Jun-hyuk.

Lee also reflected on the heat he took after the now-viral “sungnyung” (scorched rice tea) scene in the drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines." “A stranger at a market actually scolded me―that’s when I realized how invested people were,” he said, adding with a laugh, “My dad even joked, ‘I’ll ladle the sungnyung myself―just bring home someone special to introduce to us.’”

Host Shin Dong-yup then brought up Lee’s live awards mishap. “Before Part 2 started, I told Jun-hyuk how sorry I was,” Lee recalled. “Honestly, I wanted to go straight home. I was so embarrassed. Even veteran stars I’d never met told me it was funny, but as soon as Part 2 kicked off, Shin Dong-yup brought it up again. That kind of stung.”

When Shin asked if Lee blamed him, Lee admitted, “When I got home and was showering, I thought, ‘He really didn’t have to mention it.’”

Shin countered that the moment probably made Lee more memorable. Lee laughed, adding, “The very next day at the airport, people addressed me properly―‘Lee Jun-young!’”
