Kim Jong-kook got candid about his wedding on the September 14 episode of SBS’ "My Little Old Boy."
During a visit to HeeChul’s place with Kim Dong-hyun, the trio talked through the swirl of speculation around Kim’s bride. When HeeChul asked if she was an LA-based cosmetics CEO―or the daughter of a famous English instructor―Kim shut it down with a laugh, saying, “None of the stories out there are true.”
“Other than her gender, everything you’ve heard is false―nowhere near the truth,” he added.
Asked about his parents’ reaction, Kim said they were all in: “Why would they oppose it at my age? Of course my dad was thrilled―my mom, too.”
As for why some "My Little Old Boy" folks didn’t make the guest list, Kim explained, “We’re keeping it tiny. We capped it at about 50 seats each for the bride and groom, so I prioritized people I see at least once a week or talk to often.”
He also revealed that Yoo Jae-suk volunteered to emcee, and Kim plans to sing the wedding song himself.
Later, the crew drew lots for household gifts. HeeChul ended up on stroller duty, while Kim Dong-hyun pulled a diffuser.
Kim Jong-min―who once received a refrigerator from Kim Jong-kook as a wedding gift―got stuck with detergent this time, which made Kim groan. Jong-min leaned into the bit, promising “3 million won’s worth―a lifetime supply,” sending everyone into laughter.
