Travel YouTuber KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) shared on Sept. 8 that he’s going to be a dad and introduced his fiancée ahead of their October wedding.
During a YouTube livestream, he revealed that his bride-to-be is a non-celebrity office worker five years younger. “We met before I became well-known,” he said. “We drifted apart as I got busier, then found our way back to each other.”
“She may be younger, but she’s the one who always boosts my self-esteem and gives me confidence,” he added, expressing his affection.
Described as introverted yet attentive, she’s been the quiet, steady presence at his side. “She encouraged me when I felt small and walked the path with me,” he said, explaining what led him to propose.
On Sept. 9, a local outlet reported that she is currently working as a civil servant outside the capital, and that the couple sustained a long-distance relationship for quite some time, grounded in strong trust and affection.
The wedding was originally planned for next May, but after learning they’re expecting, the couple moved the ceremony up to October. “We’re going to be three. It feels like the greatest blessing,” KwakTube shared.
The pair have already held a formal family meeting and are preparing a private ceremony with only relatives and close friends. “From now on, I want to show a more mature, happier side of myself―as someone’s husband and father,” he said.
His agency SM C&C confirmed the marriage and pregnancy: “Kwak Jun-bin’s fiancée is a non-celebrity. The two have built trust and love as a couple and promised to be lifetime partners. As she is in the early stages and needs stability, they are carefully and gratefully awaiting their new addition.”
