Kwon Yul Signs with TEAMHOPE, Joins Lee Hanee & Byun Yohan

Actor Kwon Yul has signed an exclusive contract with management company TEAMHOPE, joining a roster that includes Lee Hanee and Byun Yohan.

"Kwon Yul is an actor who has consistently made every character his own across a wide range of genres. With his seasoned craft and the public’s trust behind him, we will wholeheartedly support him as he broadens his career with deeper, more meaningful work," TEAMHOPE said in a statement.

Kwon has built a steady presence on both the big and small screens. His film credits include "Beastie Boys" (2008), "Pieta" (2012), "INGtoogi: The Battle of Surpluses" (2013), "Roaring Currents" (2014), "Anarchist from Colony" (2017) and "The Policeman’s Lineage" (2022). On television, he’s appeared in "Let’s Eat 2" (2015), "Whisper" (2017), the "Voice" franchise (2018-2021), "No, Thank You" (2020, 2022), "Dali and Cocky Prince" (2021), "Mental Coach Jegal" (2022), "Connection" (2024) and the 2024 series "My Sweet Mobster". Drawing on that range, Kwon will make his stage debut this September in the play "Amadeus".

He’s also showcased a down-to-earth, relatable charm on a slate of variety shows, including "Point of Omniscient Interfere", "The Must-Try Restaurants", "Europe Outside Your Tent: Spain", as well as foodie and travel programs such as "Hidden Taste Road" and "Earth Sweepers".

TEAMHOPE also represents Byun Yohan, Lee Hanee, Um Tae-goo, Lee Joo-young, Bang Ye-rin and mixed martial artist Choi Seung-woo.
