K-pop boy band NOWZ made a surprise appearance on MBC's "Where Is My Home."
On the Sept. 4 episode, the group joined a house-hunting tour alongside a major K-pop agency, drawing eyes with their fresh visuals and an unfiltered look at their dorm life.
Hosts Yang Se-hyung, WENDY, and Lee Seok-hoon dropped by Cube Entertainment headquarters, where they met NOWZ in a third-floor practice room. Spotting member HYEONBIN, Lee lit up and shared, "I saw HYEONBIN on an audition show where I was a judge―his talent was already proven back then," revealing a connection that goes back six years.
Now in their second year, NOWZ said they’re living in a dorm near the company. They amped up the relatability factor with self-shot footage, giving viewers a candid tour of their space. The members also talked about trainee days that included not just character and etiquette training but spelling drills and history quizzes. When the MCs tossed out impromptu questions, the group fired back with correct answers, showing they’d done the homework.
When the hosts mentioned label senior Lee Sang-jun, NOWZ shared a behind-the-scenes tidbit: "He often drops by our monthly trainee evaluations and watches from the chairman’s side."
The group has been stepping up its global game lately, connecting with fans through promotions in Beijing and Shanghai, China, as well as Tokyo, Japan.
