Things spiral hilariously out of control on SBS’s Thursday show "My Turn" when a missing diamond leads to a real-life police visit on set.

"My Turn" follows seven stars ― Lee Kyung-kyu, Tak Jae-hoon, Choo Sung-hoon, Lee Su-ji, Kim Won-hoon, Park Ji-hyun, and Nam Yoon-su ― as a fictional trot-idol team forms and chaos ensues in a mock-reality format. After just three episodes, the show ranked No. 1 in its timeslot among viewers 20?49, hit a 4.5% minute peak in the Seoul metro per Nielsen Korea, and has landed on Netflix’s Top 10 for three consecutive weeks.

In episode 4, airing Aug. 28, the group’s alter-ego “Ppongtan Boyz” transform into characters from kid-favorite franchise "Catch! Teenieping" ― and the resemblance is uncanny. Choo recently teased the makeover on social with a photo in full Teenieping glam and the caption, “Love! Spend your allowance wisely,” prompting a flood of comments about his hustle and dedication. The full group reveal, however, is being saved for broadcast.

Even producer Lee Kyung-kyu jumps in with a surprise costume, leaving the cast stunned. Whether their kid-targeted cosplay pays off, what exactly Lee is dressed as, and how the crowd reacts to the over-the-top visuals will all be unveiled in episode 4.

Meanwhile, the show’s beloved “middle-aged lovebugs” duo ― Tak Jae-hoon and Choo Sung-hoon ― hits a rough patch when Choo’s diamond earring goes missing. The piece is a stunner: one 8-carat earring valued around 300 million won, enough to leave the entire cast speechless.

Suspicions start flying, with Choo jokingly zeroing in on Tak: “Hyung, times that tough? Empty your pockets.” The bit escalates so much that actual police are called to set, turning everyone ― Tak, the whole cast, even their manager Kim Won-hoon ― into suspects in a comedy of errors. But the case takes a wild turn: the final shot shows Lee Kyung-kyu being led away by officers, setting up a big reveal on where the bling really went.

The Ppongtan Boyz’s anything-for-success antics continue when "My Turn" airs tonight at 9 p.m. KST on SBS.
