ZEROBASEONE member Kim Jiwoong has donated 10 million won to help people affected by the recent torrential rains, paying it forward to communities hit hard by the storms.
The Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Im Chae-cheong) announced on the 19th that Kim contributed 10 million won to support residents impacted by the heavy downpours centered around the greater Seoul area.
According to his agency, Kim shared words of comfort for those displaced by the sudden flooding, saying he decided to donate “in the hope it can, even in a small way, support recovery efforts.”
Back in March, Kim also made a quiet donation to aid recovery from wildfires across the Ulsan, North Gyeongsang and South Gyeongsang regions.
“We are deeply grateful for the warm-hearted support from donor Kim Jiwoong, who sets a positive example for the public,” said Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon. “We will do everything we can to help those affected regain a sense of normalcy as soon as possible.”
