Lee Gyu-bin (32), who rose to fame on Channel A’s "Heart Signal 2", is headed down the aisle after proposing to his girlfriend, model Ahn Sun-mi.
On Aug. 18, Ahn shared photos from the moment on social media with the caption, “I said yes!” She wrote, “On Gyu-bin’s 33rd birthday, he looked at me with teary eyes and slipped a ring onto my left ring finger. He even handed me my first-ever bouquet of 100 roses.”
She added, “They even played Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect’ at the restaurant. I was so shocked and crying so hard that it’s all a blur. When I think about how much he prepared, the tears start again―but I pulled myself together and said, Yes, yes, yessssss!”
The images show Ahn posing with her ring amid a sea of roses and the couple holding hands―sweet moments that had fans swooning.
The pair went public with their relationship in 2023 and have been cheered on by fans ever since. Lee boasts an unconventional resume: He graduated from KMLA and Seoul National University, passed Korea’s Level-5 civil service exam, and became a finance-track government official. He also served as a public affairs officer at Navy Headquarters with the rank of lieutenant. Later, he appeared on MBC’s reality program “My Working Vlog” to share a glimpse into a civil servant’s day-to-day life.
The bride-to-be, Ahn Sun-mi, is a former Miss Korea contestant and a model who studied traditional Korean dance.
