Longtime couple Lee Dae-ho and Shin Hye-jung, married for 17 years, are set to make their first appearance on the show.
On the August 18 episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny', producers unveiled the next couple in the variety hit’s 400th-episode special lineup.
The episode closed with a teaser announcing the arrival of legendary slugger Lee Dae-ho and his wife, Shin Hye-jung.
Lee―who made history as the first Korean hitter to notch double-digit home runs across the U.S., Japan, and Korea―will join the series alongside his wife of 17 years.
When Shin mentioned she wanted to check a mirror, Lee playfully gushed, "You look gorgeous right now―you're dazzling. Good thing I'm in black; if I'd worn white, I wouldn't be able to look straight at you. And your lips are so shiny I just want to steal a kiss."
Shin described her husband this way: "He may look like a tiger in front of others, but with me he’s like Puss in Boots―full of charm and affection." Her comments hint at Lee’s next-level softie side on the show.
The preview clip shows Lee constantly vying for his wife’s attention and cranking up the romance, setting the stage for what promises to be irresistible chemistry in next week’s episode.
