Yang Hyun-suk, YG Entertainment's executive producer, took to the company's YouTube channel to lay out what's next for BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER.
First up, TREASURE will drop a new album on Sept. 1. Marking the group's fifth anniversary, Yang called it the start of "Act Two" for TREASURE―an easy-on-the-ears, replay-ready set made for repeat listens.
BABYMONSTER's release is arriving a bit later than planned. Citing the Chuseok holiday period and distribution logistics, Yang said the album is moving from Oct. 1 to Oct. 10 and will include four new tracks.
Following "BLACKPINK House," a new in-house reality series titled "Demon House" is also on the way, with preview content rolling out starting in September.
Plans around BLACKPINK's next album are less concrete as the group continues its world tour. Still, Yang said he's aiming to have the project out by November at the latest, adding that producers and members are hard at work.
"We'll do our best to show up more often with great music―from TREASURE and BABYMONSTER to BLACKPINK," he said.
