Jannabi's Choi Jung-hoon, has opened up about his feelings after their solo concert at the KSPO Dome.
Over the course of two days, on the 2nd and 3rd, Jannabi held their concert, marking a significant milestone by performing at the iconic venue of the domestic concert scene. During the show, Jannabi connected with the audience through music that has been carefully crafted since their street busking days in Hongdae.
After the concert, Choi Jung-hoon took to social media to share his lengthy reflections. Currently at the airport for a week-long vacation in New York, Choi expressed, "I was overwhelmingly happy. Without a doubt, this will be a treasured memory of my life."
He continued, "I hope I was able to give back as much happiness as I felt on stage to each and every one of you. If that's possible, there's nothing we can't do," conveying his heartfelt gratitude to the fans. He also promised, "I won't take this gift for granted and will incorporate it well into our new music. Stay tuned," hinting at future activities.
Choi added, "As I often say, Jannabi's music comes to life under your applause. Knowing this destiny, we are more determined than ever to create music that is kind, warm, and healthy."
He also shared his deep philosophy on performing. "I've thought a lot about what it means to perform. Sometimes it feels like an animalistic sport, other times a brutally realistic business," he said. "But within that, I've found my own philosophy. A belief in the mysterious power that arises when everyone comes together. Jannabi is just a vessel to receive that."
Finally, Choi stated, "On stage, Do-hyung and I, we see ourselves as manifestations of the countless beings behind the scenes, allowing us to confidently take the stage at every venue," expressing his sincere gratitude to the team and staff who worked together. "I still believe in what can't be seen. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who made this possible."
