Park Ji-yeon, who became the final couple with Ha Jeong-mok in the Netflix dating show 'Better Late than Single', shared her first thoughts after the broadcast.
In the early hours of the 5th, Ji-yeon took to her social media to share photos with the cast, expressing, "As someone who's been single since birth, I was scared to open up to someone and show my true self in front of so many people. But I gathered my courage to join the show," she said. "I hope viewers can forgive my awkward and lacking self."
She continued, "I'm deeply grateful to the production team, staff, and 'Love Maker' Eun-ji unnie for unforgettable moments. Above all, this journey has brought me precious friends, and we've shared more genuine moments than what was shown on TV."
Ji-yeon added, "I'll cherish this friendship and strive to become a better person. I ask for your warm support and kind eyes for all the cast of 'Better Late than Single'."
'Better Late than Single', which premiered in July, is a reality show that captures the first dating attempts of lifelong singles. Ji-yeon and her fellow college student Ha Jeong-mok confirmed their feelings for each other, becoming the 'final couple'. Their bed kiss scene during a two-day date became a hot topic, and the sincere meeting of the two has continued to receive support.
After the show ended, Ji-yeon has not made any statements regarding her actual relationship status with Jeong-mok.
Meanwhile, Ji-yeon, born in 1999 and also active as a BGM producer, has recently gained attention on a beauty styling social media with the tagline "exuding a strong independent woman vibe" alongside a new photoshoot. Through the broadcast, Ji-yeon has revealed her genuine charm, garnering public interest.
