The group I-DLE is kickstarting their activities in Japan with their first album release since rebranding.

I-DLE (Miyeon, Minnie, SOYEON, Yuqi, Shuhua) is set to release their first Japanese EP titled 'I-DLE' on October 3rd. This new release, named after the group itself, marks their first Japanese album in about five years since their rebranding.

The EP 'I-DLE' will feature a total of five tracks including the lead single 'What Should I Do (どうしよっかな)' along with three new songs and Japanese versions of their hits 'Queencard' and 'Fate'. The title track 'What Should I Do' showcases the unique emotional depth and musical world of I-DLE, with leader SOYEON taking charge of both lyrics and composition. The album will be available in three versions, including a limited edition.

Coinciding with the album release, I-DLE will embark on their first tour in Japan. Starting with a performance at the Saitama Super Arena on October 4th, they will continue with two shows at the Kobe Glion Arena on October 18th and 19th. Additionally, various local promotions including fan signing events are planned in Tokyo and Osaka.

The interest from local fans in Japan is already heating up. In March, they made a surprise appearance on TBS's morning info show 'LOVE it!' becoming a trending topic on social media, and last month, they received high praise for their explosive live performance and stage presence on NHK's 'Venue 101'.

I-DLE is also gearing up to heat up their activities in Japan by performing at the country's largest music festival, 'SUMMER SONIC 2025', scheduled for August 16th and 17th.
