Veterinarian Kim Jun-ho, who became known as Young-soo from season 24 of 'I Am Solo', has recently shared his successful weight loss journey.
Kim Jun-ho embarked on a weight management plan with a dieting agency and successfully shed 9kg. Having ballooned to 96kg during the show, he managed to slim down to 86kg through exercise post-broadcast, and with a renewed focus on dieting, he has now reached 77kg.
His significantly reduced belly fat, previously a point of criticism, has now become a hot topic due to his transformed appearance.
In recent photos released by the agency, Kim Jun-ho sports a sharp jawline and a slimmer figure, looking years younger.
He shared, "Before the diet, I wore a size 37-inch waist, but now even 33-inch pants are loose on me. I often hear from people around me that I've gotten my old face back, and it has really boosted my self-esteem."
Kim Jun-ho was deeply hurt by malicious comments about his belly fat following his appearance on the show. He admitted, "At first, I was skeptical. I wondered if I could really lose weight this way. Before, I just wanted to lie down and do nothing, but now I feel much more refreshed and my self-esteem has greatly improved."
Last year, Kim Jun-ho appeared on SBS PLUS·ENA's reality show 'I Am Solo' season 24 and continued to appear in 'I Am Solo: Love Forever', though he did not end up in a final couple. He also gained attention for his profession as a veterinarian running a successful pet hospital with an annual income in the high six figures for four years.
