Actor Yoo Seung-ho has once again touched hearts with his warm act of kindness. He donated 2 tons of food to a stray cat shelter, demonstrating his deep love for animals.
On the 4th, the animal rights civic group 'LayAtHome' shared through their official SNS, "We received a donation of food from actor Yoo Seung-ho and a pet food brand. Thanks to them, our little ones can have a hearty summer. We are deeply grateful." They added, "Cats are love. We will ensure they live healthily and happily," expressing their gratitude.
Yoo Seung-ho's act of kindness revealed today is an extension of his consistent volunteer work. Known as a famous cat lover, Yoo has been volunteering for stray cats for years. He has been known to visit shelters without a manager, driving himself, and has also been actively involved in treating and adopting out stray cats, a fact that became known belatedly.
In a 2023 interview with JTBC's 'Newsroom', Yoo Seung-ho expressed, "I want to save as much money as I can through acting. I plan to run an animal shelter," revealing his ultimate goal.
Meanwhile, when Yoo Seung-ho was discharged from military service in 2014 from the 27th Division in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, he tearfully said, "The ones I want to see the most are my parents and our two house cats," showing his deep love for cats.
