TXT Soars to Top of Oricon Charts in Japan on Release Day, Album Sales Surpass 1.5 Million in Just 2 Days

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has proven their influence in the Japanese music scene.

According to the latest charts released by Japan's Oricon on July 23 (for July 22), TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s fourth full album 'The Star Chapter: TOGETHER' rocketed to the top of the 'Daily Album Ranking' on its first day of release, selling 244,681 copies.

Since their second mini-album 'The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY' in 2020, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has consistently topped this chart with every release. Their fourth full album has also maintained the number one spot on Japan's Line Music Daily Album Chart for two consecutive days (July 22-23), showcasing the warm reception from local fans.

The lead single 'Beautiful Strangers' secured the 7th spot on Oricon's 'Daily Digital Single Ranking'. After debuting at number 3 on the chart for July 21, it continued to hold a high position for two consecutive days. Additionally, the song dominated the top spot on Japan's Line Music Daily Song Chart for two days in a row (July 22-23) and climbed ten spots to rank 56th on Japan's Spotify 'Daily Top Song' on July 22. The music video for the lead single also hit number one on Japan's YouTube trending videos on July 22, surpassing 10 million views by 11:55 PM on July 23.

Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's fourth full album 'The Star Chapter: TOGETHER' has also topped the Hanteo Chart's Daily Physical Album Chart for two consecutive days (July 21-22) in South Korea. After selling 1,428,097 copies on the first day, it added another 92,335 copies, surpassing 1.5 million sales in just two days.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is set to kick off their music show promotions starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on July 24. With member Yeonjun participating in the choreography creation for 'Beautiful Strangers', the group is expected to deliver a performance full of their unique color and provide a 'performance catharsis'.
