YG PLUS Teams Up with Netflix to Distribute K-Content OSTs Globally

YG PLUS, a comprehensive music content company, has partnered with the global entertainment streaming service Netflix to distribute original soundtracks (OSTs) from Netflix's Korean productions worldwide.

This partnership combines YG PLUS's capabilities in music distribution and marketing with Netflix's global platform, which has been introducing stories from Korean creators to the world. It is expected to not only expand the global reach of K-content but also enhance the immersive experience and quality of entertainment content for fans.

The partnership includes the distribution of OSTs featured in Netflix's Korean productions and collaborative campaigns related to these soundtracks. This move, which goes beyond simple content supply, has garnered industry attention as it showcases a domestic company distributing OSTs from Netflix's Korean productions worldwide, within the global entertainment trend led by Korean creators.

YG PLUS plans to distribute key OST tracks from Netflix's Korean series and films to over 190 countries worldwide and to develop OST marketing strategies based on the concepts of each content.

Kim In-ho, leader of the music business division at YG PLUS, stated, "This partnership marks a significant starting point in expanding the boundaries between Netflix's Korean content and music, opening up a new global music business model. By combining the strengths of both companies, we aim to provide a more immersive entertainment experience to fans around the world."
