Director Park Chan-wook's latest film "No Other Choice" has confirmed its release this September, unveiling its first poster and teaser trailer.

"No Other Choice" tells the story of 'Mansoo' (Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who thought he had everything in life until he suddenly gets laid off. To protect his wife and two children, and to save the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own battle towards reemployment. This film has been long mentioned by Director Park Chan-wook as the project he's been most eager to create.

The first poster released on the 22nd captures attention with its detailed illustration design. It features 'Mansoo' struggling for reemployment, his energetic wife 'Miri' (Son Ye-jin), their two children 'Siwon', 'Riwon', and their two dogs, amidst various characters with intriguing backstories like the relaxed 'Seonchul' (Park Hee-soon), 'Beommo' (Lee Sung-min) who is intently looking at a piece of paper, 'Ara' (Yeom Hye-ran) enjoying a picnic, and 'Sijo' (Cha Seung-won) holding a pair of shoes.

The determined look of 'Mansoo' standing in front of the house he must protect contrasts with his happier moments dancing with 'Miri' among fluttering petals, raising curiosity about the unpredictable situations that unfold following his sudden layoff.

The teaser trailer, starting with 'Mansoo's line, "In the US, they say you 'get axed' when you're laid off. Know what they say in Korea? 'You're necked.'", captures both the eyes and ears with its powerful beat. The ever-changing appearances of various characters keep viewers hooked throughout the trailer.

Centered around 'Mansoo' and his wife 'Miri', who remain unshaken in any crisis, the teaser introduces characters like the successful paper company foreman 'Seonchul', the industry veteran desperately seeking reemployment 'Beommo', the emotionally rich artist 'Ara', and the seasoned expert 'Sijo'. The teaser trailer, showcasing the intense dynamics among these characters, spikes curiosity about the unfolding events. The first on-screen pairing of Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin, along with Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Seung-won, promises explosive synergy and raises anticipation for "No Other Choice".

This film marks Director Park Chan-wook's first project since "Decision to Leave" in 2022, with a high possibility of being invited to the Venice International Film Festival on August 27.

With a cast you can trust, dramatic developments, beautiful mise-en-scene, solid direction, and a touch of black comedy humor, "No Other Choice" is set to premiere this September.
