The group SEVENTEEN is set to embark on their new world tour 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' starting this September in Incheon.
Their agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced on the 21st that "SEVENTEEN will open the world tour on September 13th and 14th at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium." The concerts will also be available through online live streaming, allowing fans from all over the world to join in.
The tour name 'NEW_' signifies SEVENTEEN's new challenges and infinite possibilities, with the word 'NEW' followed by a blank space (_) symbolizing the journey that lies ahead for them.
SEVENTEEN celebrated their 10th anniversary on May 26th by releasing their 5th full album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY'. The album features solo tracks from all members and collaborations with global artists like Pharrell Williams, expanding their musical spectrum and generating buzz.
'HAPPY BURSTDAY' topped the Circle Chart for the first half of the year and also reached number 2 on the US Billboard 200, proving to be a hit both in album sales and streaming. The title track 'THUNDER' swept the top spots on major domestic music charts, reaffirming SEVENTEEN's strength.
In 2025, SEVENTEEN ranked third in the Billboard Boxscore's 'Top Tours' category for the first half of the year, the highest position for a K-pop artist. This world tour is expected to showcase SEVENTEEN's renewed image and continue the heat of their 10th anniversary.
