U-KNOW Yunho of the iconic K-pop group TVXQ! has stepped up with a donation of 50 million won to aid victims of the recent devastating floods.
The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 21st that U-KNOW Yunho had contributed the substantial sum on the 19th to support flood recovery efforts. The funds are earmarked for emergency relief, temporary housing, living expenses support, and damage restoration to provide tangible assistance to those affected.
U-KNOW Yunho shared, "I wanted to offer some strength to our neighbors who are facing great difficulties due to the sudden flood damage. I hope they don't lose courage in these tough times and can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
U-KNOW Yunho has been a consistent donor in times of disaster, spreading positive influence through his contributions. He has participated in donation drives for the 2019 Gangwon wildfires, the 2020 COVID-19 special fundraising, the 2022 East Coast wildfires, and the 2023 Gangneung wildfires. In 2022, he joined the Honor Society, a group of major donors with the Community Chest of Korea, taking a leading role in promoting a culture of giving.
