Singer Lee So-eun (42) is making a grand return to the music scene with a new album after a decade-long hiatus. Having taken a break from music to pursue a career as an attorney and embrace motherhood, Lee So-eun is now picking up the microphone once again.
Lee So-eun is set to release her new album, featuring a complete tracklist, on global music platforms on the 23rd. The day before, on July 22nd, she will hold a release celebration concert in New York, followed by a solo concert in Seoul at the end of August.
This album, a collaboration with poet and composer LEMA, is a project that transforms twelve poems into music. It promises a profound musical world that transcends a simple comeback, filled with the resonances of life and literary inspiration.
It's been roughly ten years since Lee So-eun's last album release. After her fourth studio album 'Think of Me' in 2005, she went to study in the United States, graduating from Northwestern Law School and working as an attorney in New York. She also served as the vice-chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) New York branch. Currently, she juggles entrepreneurship, column writing, and parenting, actively engaging in various fields.
Lee So-eun burst onto the music scene in 1998 with her debut song 'Farewell' and quickly established herself as a leading singer-songwriter of the early 2000s. She has kept fans updated with appearances on JTBC's 'Two Yoo Project - Sugar Man 3' in 2019 and tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' in April 2022.
