Rapper Swings Makes Surprise Theater Debut Today, Embarks on a New Challenge as an Actor

Rapper Swings is taking the theater world by storm with his unexpected debut as a stage actor.

Swings is set to make a special appearance in the play "Office Romance Report" (literal title) at the Jena Art Hall in Daehak-ro, Seoul, today at 4:40 PM. He shared the news of his debut with fans via social media.

Previously, Swings announced his intention to take on acting through the MBC YouTube channel, revealing that the outspoken and widely discussed figure in the hip-hop scene is now challenging himself with a new label: actor.

On the program, Swings expressed his determination, saying, "Many might laugh at the idea of me acting, but I'm serious about taking this on properly." Indeed, he has been preparing for this new journey by enrolling in an acting school under his real name, Moon Ji-hoon, and has even made his acting debut in the short web drama "The Nonexistent Movie" (literal title), playing the role of a used car dealership owner.

Recently, Swings has also been in the spotlight for rumored involvement in the commercial film "Tazza 4." While the production company has stated that discussions are ongoing, Swings has fueled speculation by sharing a photo with the film's lead, Byun Yo-han, hinting at his possible participation.

He has also shared his past experience of auditioning for "Squid Game Season 2," expressing disappointment that the role went to T.O.P.
