Lotte Cinema has announced it will be broadcasting the Seoul concert of virtual idol PLAVE's first Asia tour live in theaters.
From August 15th (Friday) to 17th (Sunday), Lotte Cinema will live stream the final show of the '2025 PLAVE Asia Tour - 'DASH: Quantum Leap in Seoul'' held at the Olympic Park KSPO DOME. Notably, PLAVE will make history as the first virtual idol to perform at the iconic 'KSPO DOME' with this tour.
This concert marks PLAVE's first Asia tour just two years after their debut, with tickets for all three shows selling out quickly upon release, proving PLAVE's strong ticket sales power once again. The live broadcast at Lotte Cinema offers a special treat for fans who missed out on tickets to the live event.
The live broadcast will capture the final fervor in Seoul, featuring intense performances centered around the theme of 'gravity', a diverse setlist connected to the PLAVE universe, and special stages exclusive to this tour. The large screens and powerful sound systems of the theaters will deliver the concert's excitement, allowing fans to enjoy the thrill of cheering together.
At the World Tower 21 venue, a 'light stick screening' will be held, where the official light sticks will change colors through a central control system. Additionally, lighting devices that sync with the actual concert stage lights in real-time will be installed inside the screening room to replicate the concert atmosphere.
Lotte Cinema will gift fans attending the live viewing with 'group photocards' and 'live viewing special tickets'. Tickets for the PLAVE Asia Tour live viewing will be available starting July 21st at 3 PM, with more details on the Lotte Cinema website and app.
Kim Se-hwan, head of the X-Con Team at Lotte Cultureworks, said, "The theater live viewing, where fans can shout cheers and scream together, always receives a passionate response because it allows fans to share the live excitement and emotion in one place. We plan to fill the theaters with the fervent support of the 'PLAVE' fans, just like at the live venue."
Meanwhile, the exclusive screening of the short content 'PLAVE 'DASH' in Cinema', lasting 7 minutes and 12 seconds, held last March at Lotte Cinema, attracted over 38,000 viewers, shining among other prominent screenings.
