The much-anticipated Bangkok concert of singer G-DRAGON has been postponed, with the agency citing 'unprecedented heatwave and concerns for fans' health' as the reasons.

On the 11th, Galaxy Corporation, G-DRAGON's agency, announced, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to reluctantly postpone the Bangkok concert scheduled for August 2nd." The concert was part of G-DRAGON's 'Übermensch' world tour, set to take place at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.

The agency explained, "The decision was made with the health and safety of fans as our top priority, considering the exceptional and record-breaking heatwave that has led to a surge in heatstroke cases, especially given the outdoor nature of the venue."

However, fans had mixed reactions to the news. Some expressed frustration, saying, "They booked the venue without considering the weather, and without securing an alternative location, they pushed ahead only to postpone in the end. If the health of fans was truly a priority, they should not have booked the date in the first place."

The agency sincerely apologized for the inconvenience caused, stating, "We will quickly announce an alternative venue and schedule, taking into consideration avoiding the heatwave and rainy season, and prioritizing safety."
