Girl group SAY MY NAME has expanded its lineup by adding a new member, transitioning into an 8-member ensemble.

Marking their first year since debut, the group is gearing up for a summer comeback with this exciting change.

iNKODE Entertainment announced on their official social media on the 10th, "SAY MY NAME has shifted from a 7-member to an 8-member formation, welcoming new member 'SHUIE' into the team." This move signals the group's commitment to a fresh start and intensified preparations for their comeback.

SHUIE's addition was hinted at in a teaser released earlier. The mystery of who the hand taking the 'purple star' from an 8-piece cake teaser on the 9th belonged to has been solved - it was the eighth member, SHUIE.

In the revealed photos, SHUIE exudes a refreshing presence with her pure and distinct facial features. The addition of a new member has sparked enthusiastic reactions from fans, with related keywords trending in real-time on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Weibo, proving the global fans' high interest.

iNKODE stated, "We will continue to approach with more genuine efforts, maintaining SAY MY NAME's identity and teamwork as we embark on this new journey."

SAY MY NAME, a girl group first produced by singer and actor Kim Jaejoong, made their debut last October with their first EP 'SAY MY NAME' and have continued their solid growth trajectory with the release of their second EP 'My Name Is…'. They have been expanding their fanbase not only in Korea but also in Japan and Asia, earning the spotlight as a '5th Generation Hot Rookie'.
