Girl's Day member and actress Mina shared her feelings about marrying actor On Ju-wan.
On the 4th, Mina took to her fan cafe to personally announce her marriage news to her fans through a handwritten letter. She started, "I've been pondering how to break this news. I always imagined revealing it in the coolest way possible when the time came, but things didn't go as planned, so I ended up writing this letter in a hurry," she confessed.
Mina continued, "Still, I'm glad I can share my feelings this way. Not long ago, I had the chance to sing at a long-time fan's wedding, and it felt like revisiting a cherished item I had kept in an old drawer. It made me realize, 'Back then, we were truly passionate,' and honestly, I've missed those times."
She added, "You were my era and my life. Thanks to your support and love, I've been able to live so warmly. That's why I've always strived to be better and put my all into my work, believing it was the way to repay your kindness."
Mina also expressed, "Without Girl's Day and our fans, I wouldn't be here. I'm truly grateful for showing me that life can be filled with gratitude. Because of you, I feel confident to move forward both as an artist and as an individual."
Especially, Mina mentioned her "fiance" On Ju-wan, saying, "I now have someone who supports me steadfastly from up close."
Mina shared, "As I take on new challenges and receive your full support, I'll also protect my family. Please warmly celebrate with us in your hearts."
Earlier that day, the agencies of Mina and On Ju-wan announced that the couple is set to marry this November. The two met in 2016 through the SBS drama 'Beautiful Gong Shim' and, after reuniting in the 2021 musical 'Those Days', their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship.
