A male participant, Mr. A, from ENA and SBS Plus's 'I Am Solo' has been arrested under suspicion of raping a woman, causing a major uproar.
According to Yonhap News TV on the 24th, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul urgently arrested Mr. A on the 21st for attempted rape charges. Mr. A is accused of raping a woman in her 20s in a parking lot in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, around 3:30 AM on the 21st.
After his urgent arrest, the police applied for a warrant for his detention, and the court issued the warrant on the 23rd.
Mr. A had gained some recognition through his appearance on 'I Am Solo'. The production team of 'I Am Solo' is reportedly in the midst of trying to get the full scope of the situation.
