Singer Jessi is set to unveil a new single on the 27th.
On the 23rd, Jessi officially announced her comeback by revealing a teaser for her new single release scheduled for the 27th through her official account. The teaser video features the words 'Newsflash' on an analog TV screen.
This comeback marks Jessi's first domestic appearance in 9 months since the release of the OST 'Boomerang' for SBS's 'The Judge from Hell' last September, and about 8 months after a controversy erupted last October when a video surfaced showing Jessi's entourage assaulting a fan who approached them on the street.
At the time of the incident, Jessi was embroiled in allegations of passively allowing her entourage to assault the fan. However, Jessi refuted these claims, stating they were not true, and was cleared of any charges related to concealing a criminal or aiding in their escape. Following the incident, Jessi is reported to have been active on the international stage.
