The debut performance of Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun, known as the "Chungju Ji's," has been unveiled.
On the June 22nd episode of SBS's 'Running Man,' the promotional stage for Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun's 'Milkshake' was revealed.
Previously, HaHa had shared his new song, prompting the members to jokingly demand, "Pay up if you want to promote it here." The production team then stated that only 30 seconds of free promotion would be allowed, and anything beyond that would come with a cost.
For a 50-second showcase, the members were told they'd need to treat the team to a meal off-set if they wanted to reveal the entire song, or alternatively, sponsor a coffee truck.
Ji Suk-jin decided to treat the members to a meal, opting for the 50-second showcase. However, the time ended before they could even get to the chorus, leading Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun to promise a coffee truck in exchange for another chance to perform.
Pleased with their promise, the Chungju Ji's delivered their debut performance with added dance moves. The members commented, "You guys went all out. It seems like you really relied on the backing track," which led the production team to reveal a raw live version of their performance, causing an uproar of laughter.
After their performance, senior singer Kim Jong-kook advised, "When you go on music shows, swap out one of you for an idol each time," drawing attention with his advice.
