'Running Man' is on the hunt for the ultimate "no-brainer".
This Sunday's episode of SBS's 'Running Man' will feature a showdown to determine who among them is the most clueless, in a battle of wits―or the lack thereof.
The recent filming of 'Running Man' was themed around the 'Least Brainy Avengers Showdown'. The idea sprang up during a previous shoot when the members were astounded by the "no-brainer" moments of the 'NEW Youngest Members', leading to a challenge to find out who among them is the least brainy.
In the past, Ji Ye-eun has given hilariously incorrect answers like calling a lake 'LAK', and referring to Munch's 'The Scream' by Picasso, while Choi Daniel once called the former British Prime Minister the 'Iron Lady' as the 'Lady of Paris', showcasing their unique brand of cluelessness. As a result, Song Ji-hyo, Yang Se-chan, Ji Ye-eun, and Choi Daniel were grouped together as the 'Least Brainy Avengers' for a real showdown.
Meanwhile, Yang Se-chan, previously dubbed the original "no-brainer", surprised everyone last week by correctly answering a general knowledge quiz based on just two letters, raising expectations for his performance in this "no-brainer" quiz battle. The competition among these strong contenders to claim the title of 'Ultimate No-Brainer' is drawing keen interest.
While the "no-brainers" engage in a quiz battle, the relatively more knowledgeable members will bet on them as if they were their own 'racehorses of knowledge'. Betting ice balls on the no-brainer they believe will get the answer right, the no-brainers and the brainy members become a sort of fate community. However, early on, distrust enveloped the group, especially with the antics of the 'Betrayal Brothers', HAHA and Yang Se-chan, turning the competition into a veritable mud fight with no one to trust.
The 'Least Brainy Avengers Showdown', a battle of wits that's more about luck than knowledge, is set to air this Sunday at 6:10 PM on 'Running Man'.
