After admitting to meeting with a Japanese adult film star and being removed from his group THE BOYZ, JU HAKNYEON has been accused of solicitation charges.
On the 19th, shortly after the prostitution allegations against JU HAKNYEON were reported, an individual reportedly filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul via the National Sinmungo, accusing him of violating the Act on the Punishment of Arranging Sexual Traffic. The individual stated that they "strongly urged a thorough investigation to uncover the truth."
Previously, a Japanese media outlet had sent an inquiry to One Hundred, after confirming last month that JU HAKNYEON had met with Japanese adult film star Asuka Kirara. JU HAKNYEON, after being pressed, admitted to this fact.
JU HAKNYEON acknowledged, "It's true that I was present at a drinking session with her with other acquaintances on May 30th," but denied any allegations of solicitation or any illegal activities mentioned in articles or rumors, stating, "There is absolutely no truth to those claims."
He continued, "I deeply regret my actions and sincerely apologize to those who were shocked by this news," expressing his remorse.
