The Netflix series 'Mercy for None' has soared to the top of the Netflix Global TOP 10 Series (Non-English) category in its second week of release.
'Mercy for None' is a noir action drama that follows 'Ki-jun', who had once severed his own ties to the underworld of Mercy for None, as he returns after 11 years following the death of his brother 'Ki-seok', a former second-in-command of the organization, to unravel the conspiracy behind his demise.
In its second week, 'Mercy for None' recorded 7.6 million viewership hours, making it into the Global TOP 10 list in a total of 75 countries including South Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, Germany, and Switzerland. It also ranked first in 9 countries, showcasing its international popularity.
Notably, the series has been praised for its gripping narrative of 'Nam Ki-jun' (played by So Ji-sub), who navigates the brutal world of violence without regret, and the solid performances of its cast have captivated audiences both domestically and internationally.
