WOOYOUNG of 2PM is set to make his comeback as a solo artist with the digital single 'Simple Dance' on June 23.
JYP Entertainment announced the comeback early on the 9th through their official social media channels by posting the online cover for WOOYOUNG's new digital single 'Simple Dance'. The cover, featuring a person in jeans and a black tank top, exudes a natural vibe that catches the eye.
'Simple Dance' marks WOOYOUNG's first solo comeback in approximately 7 years and 5 months since his second solo mini-album 'When We Part' in January 2018. Fans eagerly awaiting his new work will be delighted. WOOYOUNG, an 'all-rounder artist' known for his songwriting, composing, performances, and even his witty banter, is expected to make a significant impact on the music scene this early summer with his latest release.
Last year, WOOYOUNG held his first solo fan meeting '2024 WOOYOUNG Fan meeting ' in Seoul and Busan, and also performed in Tokyo, Bangkok, and Taipei with 2PM members JUN. K and NICHKUN under the concert '[ENWJ]'. Recently, he has been showcasing his versatility across various fields, serving as the sole MC for the web show 'K-Request' and appearing in Netflix's 'Screwballs' and his own content 'Jang Hanryang', demonstrating his comedic talent and charm.
Meanwhile, WOOYOUNG's digital single 'Simple Dance' will be available on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 23rd.
