Actor Oh Jung-se is showcasing a busy schedule, moving between dramas and films.

In the Netflix series 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', released last March, Oh Jung-se made a memorable appearance as Oh Ae-soon's (played by IU) stepfather, 'Yeom Byeong-cheol'. Despite his brief appearance, he captured attention with his presence, playing a character that's hard to hate despite his flaws, enhancing the immersion with his nuanced performance.

Oh Jung-se's presence is expected to shine in the film industry as well. In the movie 'Hi-FIVE', released today (30th), he plays 'Jong-min', a former national taekwondo team coach and gym owner, who injects delightful humor with his special paternal love for his daughter Wan-seo (played by Lee Jae-in). Especially, his overprotective worries about his daughter getting hurt and his readiness to jump into any situation for her promise to deliver a heartwarming 'true father-daughter' chemistry.

Simultaneously, he will be seen in a completely different light on the small screen. In the new JTBC weekend drama 'Good Boy', premiering tomorrow (31st), he transforms into 'Min Joo-young', a customs official by day who secretly controls the city of Inseong by night, emerging as a chilling and formidable villain that adds tension to the story.

Thus, Oh Jung-se continues to astonish the public with his endless transformations from relatable performances to the chilling demeanor of an absolute evil. He fully embodies characters of diverse personalities, proving his worth as a 'trusted actor'.

Meanwhile, Oh Jung-se's film 'Hi-FIVE' is now showing in theaters nationwide, and JTBC's 'Good Boy' will premiere tomorrow (31st) at 10:40 PM.
