Actress Kim Tae-ri is venturing into the world of animation voice acting.
On the 30th, Netflix's first Korean animated film, 'Lost in Starlight,' will make its debut. Set in Seoul, 2050, the film follows the story of Nan-young, an astronaut dreaming of Mars exploration, and Jay, a musician who has put his dreams on hold, as they navigate through dreams and love.
In the film, Kim Tae-ri lends her voice to Nan-young, an astronaut researching cutting-edge technology. Having actively participated in everything from character development to live-action filming, anticipation is already high for the character of Nan-young, brought to life by Kim's voice.
This marks Kim Tae-ri's first foray into dubbing. The reason for the high anticipation is her acting prowess. Known for her detailed performances and unique interpretation of characters in every project, Kim is expected to deliver a vibrant performance through her voice alone.
The romantic chemistry with Hong Kyung, who plays Jay, also raises expectations. The long-distance relationship spanning 225 million km sets the stage for a poignant and youthful romance, promising to deliver a mix of excitement, emotion, and comfort to the audience. Additionally, Kim Tae-ri, as Nan-young, will showcase a variety of new looks as she freely navigates through space.
'Lost in Starlight' will be released globally through Netflix. Kim Tae-ri's new challenge can be seen on May 30th.
